1984年,河南师范大学获学士学位;
1987年,山西农业大学获硕士学位;
1988-1997,河南大学生命科学学院讲师、副教授 ;
2000年,中国科学院遗传研究所获博士学位;
2001-2005年,新加坡国立大学Institute of Molecular Agrobiology和Temasek Life Scienceslaboratory做Research Fellow;
2005年至今,中国科学院植物研究所植物干细胞与器官发生研究组组长;
2005年入选中国科学院百人计划,2006年起任国家植物基因研究中心(北京)项目科学家,2007年起任国家重大科学研究计划植物干细胞项目首席科学家。
